Montgomery House and Montgomery Hall form part of a carefully restored heritage site in Swanbourne. Creative Spaces was engaged to interpret the history of the former Swanbourne Hospital through a small museum space and integrated signage.
Design responses were guided by the site’s architecture and heritage fabric. Signage, showcases and wall-mounted display boxes were designed to house historical objects in a restrained and respectful way.
The project embeds history into everyday spaces while supporting the building’s contemporary use.
