Belmont Museum was developed by the City of Belmont as a new community hub, located within the Ruth Faulkner Library. The museum houses objects and stories that reflect the changing character of the suburb and the people who have lived there.
Creative Spaces was engaged to design exhibition graphics within the museum, working within an established style guide. The scope included interpretive panels, large window vinyls, wall graphics and a range of bespoke display elements.
Creative Spaces later designed a temporary exhibition, Faces of Belmont, to complement the permanent displays. This exhibition focused on personal stories from Belmont’s past, inviting visitors to connect with the lives and experiences of earlier residents.
Both the permanent and temporary elements worked together to create a cohesive and engaging museum experience. The project supports community connection and provides a platform for local stories to be shared and explored.
