Creative Spaces designed an interactive museum experience within the heritage-listed Sailmaker’s Shed at Broome Museum. The exhibition honours Charles Bagge, a Swedish sailmaker who worked in the shed producing sails for pearling luggers.

Interpretation uses sound, audiovisual content, physical displays and custom-designed furniture to share the shed’s history and later uses as a works depot and Navy Cadet base. All elements were designed to withstand the building’s environmental conditions.

The exhibition creates an engaging and robust experience within a working heritage structure.
