The Historic Hamlet Interpretive Exhibitions form part of Manjimup Heritage Park, a major community and visitor destination in the town centre. The park includes a series of buildings representing settlement life in the region.
Creative Spaces designed three new interpretive exhibitions for the site: the Agricultural Shed, Blacksmith’s Shop and Fire Watchtower. The project was developed in close collaboration with the Shire of Manjimup and the local Historical Society.
Interactive elements such as sound, tactile displays and back-lit interpretation encourage exploration and learning. The exhibitions support both casual visitors and school groups.
The new interpretation enhances the park’s role as a place for education, events and community connection and includes Power Up! Electricity Museum and State Timber Museum, both Creative Spaces projects.
