Mandurah Community Museum Courtroom Exhibition

The Courtroom Exhibition forms part of the Mandurah Community Museum complex and focuses on the historic courtroom building and its role in the community. Creative Spaces designed an interpretive experience that highlights key events, people and changes over time.

Sound, lighting and spatial design are used to create atmosphere and focus. Oral histories, interactive elements and tactile features encourage visitors to engage with stories linked to the courthouse.

Colours drawn from Mandurah’s coastal landscape create a calm and welcoming environment. A stylised floor map provides a new perspective on the surrounding area and historic movement routes.

The exhibition supports deeper understanding of Mandurah’s legal and social history within an intimate and immersive setting.
