Creative Spaces worked with The Perth Mint’s heritage collections and curation team to deliver a temporary exhibition for the City of Perth’s Boorloo Heritage Festival, installed for the month of April.
The exhibition was designed to create a strong visual presence within the heritage grounds while responding carefully to the operational and environmental requirements of the site. Creative Spaces designed reusable temporary sign structures using exterior-grade materials, ensuring the units were structurally secure and suitable for future exhibitions.
Large-format graphics were developed to highlight The Perth Mint’s range of coin designs and to tell the story of the coin design process. Designed to align with The Perth Mint’s style guide, the exhibition graphics were presented in a clear, engaging format consistent with the organisation’s brand.
A location plan was also developed with consideration for site security and existing reticulation, helping to ensure the installation was both practical and well-integrated into the precinct. To further strengthen the visitor experience, Creative Spaces incorporated a temporary archway clad in custom graphics, giving the exhibition a distinctive presence and encouraging visitors to explore.
Visible from the street and free to the public throughout April, the exhibition was designed to draw people into the heritage setting and celebrate The Perth Mint’s ongoing connection to design, craft and community.
The Perth Mint team also developed a children’s activity booklet and stamping stations throughout the exhibition, creating an interactive experience for families and visitors of all ages.
