Creative Spaces were thrilled to partner with the Festival of Busselton as a platinum sponsor during their 55th festival season. In celebration of this milestone, the interpretive space in Railway House was transformed into vibrant and energetic space. The Festival of Busselton exhibition design included important aspects of the festival such as Festival Queens and Float Parades through a mock festival float, that doubled as a photo opportunity. Here, visitors were able to dress up as Festival Queen in a collection of fun costumes.
Long lengths of colourful fabrics were draped through exposed beams, sweeping across and down to a restored train engine located in the space, and creating the impression of vivid, techicolour steam. Interpretive panels were designed to fit the upbeat mood of the exhibition, and give greater insight into the history of the festival.
This project was completed in December 2018.
