Residents of Midland are proud of the area. They value the rich history, the connections to the rural lifestyle, arts and culture and some of the unique attractions of the area like the railway workshops and the Swan Valley. Equipped with this knowledge, Creative Spaces created a series of environmental graphics that celebrated the distinct history of the local area.
The environmental graphics included large wayfinding symbols, such as restroom icons, and large interpretive murals. We collaborated with the architects of the project, Hames Sharley, to ensure content and materials were sympathetic to the construction material used on site.
This project was completed in November 2018 on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja.
