Pioneers’ Pathway is a self-drive trail that spans across the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The trail takes visitors on a journey through expansive farmlands and small towns, following the footsteps of early pioneers who travelled east to make a living on the land.
Creative Spaces developed and designed interpretation in several of the town sites, as well as managed the fabrication and delivery. Each site was given a distinctive design reflective of its unique stories and cultural landscape. To link the individual sites to a cohesive trail, subtle graphic devices drawn from the Pioneers’ Pathway branding and a complementary suite of font and colour selections were utilised.
This multi-faceted project commenced in August 2020 and was completed in 2021.
