In 2023, Creative Spaces proudly commemorated a decade of collaboration with WA Police for the annual Perth Royal Show exhibition. This well-established event consistently draws huge crowds and provides the WA Police with their largest face-to-face community event each year.
This year’s exhibit revolved around the theme of advanced policing technology. It actively engaged visitors through immersive screens that replicated the State Operation Command Centre, offering a behind-the-scenes view of high-tech policing, the use of drones, robotic dogs and the Starlink communication system.
The centrepiece to this year’s activity for families was a crash-scene recreation on an elevated circular platform. By completing an ‘Investigative Report’ children were able to solve the identity of the missing driver while learning about the investigative techniques that the WA Police currently use.
The exhibition engaged over 40,000 people about the intricate world of law enforcement technology and promoted the importance of road safety.
